Incredible story
Hurricane Katrina's devastating effects forced the family to relocate to Fort Worth, Texas – leaving their CSF scholarship behind. Before they had even found an apartment, Sharon worked with CSF to find another quality private school for her grandkids. After spending a year in Fort Worth, both Montell and Mishay were able to return to St. Peter Claver School.

Both girls play soccer, love to read, and volunteer at their school’s after school program. Emily also enjoys dancing.

Activities
Camilla writes and reads news articles on camera for a TV station run by her school. She is also a competitive dancer and hopes to own a dance studio and become a teacher or a real estate agent when she grows up.

Natasha, a recent 8th grade grad, and Lamar and Christina who also used CSF scholarships to attend St. Agnes School. Natasha is moving on to North Catholic High School, Lamar is now in college, and Christina is beginning 11th grade.

Grandmother
Irma, runs a day-care center out of her home and adopted all four grandchildren.

Dennis is considering several colleges in Pennsylvania and wants to study accounting and business. Demi plans to go to college and work in a hospital like her mother – or maybe become an Olympic swimmer!
