Their future begins with you
Reasons to Donate
When you give to CSF, 100% of your gift will go directly to a scholarship for a low-income child. No part of your gift will be used for administrative or fundraising costs.
All donations to CSF are highly leveraged. Not only are your gifts matched by CSF, but the recipient families themselves also match your gift by paying their portion of the tuition. With this leverage, a donation of $850, when matched, can send one child to private school for a year.
You can be proud to support a charity with the highest possible rating (four stars) from Charity Navigator for three years in a row. Only 12% of the 5,400 non-profits surveyed are awarded this honor three years running. Charity Navigator bases its ratings on financial efficiency and responsibility. You can view Charity Navigator's complete report on CSF here.
CSF has recently been awarded a GuideStar Exchange Seal for transparency. GuideStar.org shares IRS tax returns and other information from charities and CSF is one of the most popular education charities among visitors to GuideStar's website.
CSF has also received Independent Charities of America's (ICA) Seal of Excellence. The seal is awarded to charities participating in the Combined Federal Campaign that "meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness." Less than 2,000 out of more than a million U.S. charities have been awarded the ICA seal.
CSF donors can choose to fund scholarships in a particular CSF program city or area. Or they can simply allow their gift to go wherever it's needed most.
CSF donors will receive regular newsletters, annual reports, invitations to events, and other updates. You may remove yourself from our mailing list at any time. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.
Every donation to CSF is fully tax-deductible.
